IMPLEMENTATION OF FISHER-YATES SHUFFLE AND FUZZY TSUKAMOTO ALGORITHM IN ANDROID BASED BASIC PROGRAMMING APPLICATIONS

Abstract

The world of informatics has many fields that can be studied, ranging from network configuration to data processing. In learning knowledge related to coding, it requires the most basic knowledge so that the coding of the program runs well. To support learning, the learning application for basic programming is made based on Android. This research uses the Fisher-yates shuffle algorithm for quiz randomization and the fuzzy tsukamoto method for giving the final score decision. The design method used in this study uses the Luther-Sutopo multimedia-based software design method. Where to make a multimedia product using this method must go through six stages carried out sequentially. The results of this research indicate that the fisher-yates shuffle algorithm produces a varied and non-repetitive sequence of questions. And the results of the calculation of the system average final score using the fuzzy tsukamoto is 66.63 and the average final score of the manual calculation is 57.59. The results of the system calculation are considered more reasonable and acceptable because the weighted value given to the time variable is quite large, compared to the calculation using the manual method.
